Golden
China Restaurant was established in the fall of 1984 on Fair Oaks
Avenue in South Pasadena by owner Lu Paiho. Since then Golden China has
become an favorite destination for Chinese food, attracting loyal customers
from near and far.
Executive
chef Chou I-Hsing has over 49 years of experience in the art of Chinese
cooking, having cooked in some of the most prominent restaurants in Taiwan
before immigrating to United States. For the last 23 years he has helmed
the kitchen at Golden China.
